With a meticulously crafted vision, mission, and specific objectives, coupled with a consortium of esteemed members, JKIAN set the stage for a transformative journey. The early stages witnessed the formation of the Executive Board, comprising individuals renowned for their expertise and commitment to the cause. Dr. William Murithi, Dr. John Kinyuru, Ms. Irene Kimani, Dr. Mwangi Karanja,Dr. Rehema Ndeda and Ms Daisy Ondwari joined hands with the Founder, Dr Lawrence Nderu, each bringing unique insights and skills. From that point on, JKIAN was reformed into JHUB Africa.
Driven by a spirit of collaboration, JHUB Africa embarked on a journey of engagement with stakeholders across diverse domains. From Tabarin Consulting to Zoho, from Bosch East Africa to Westcon Africa, to The Power Learn Project, the roster of potential partners expanded, each contributing a unique dimension to the Hub’s ecosystem.
Central to JHUB Africa’s culture is the empowerment of innovators and entrepreneurs, providing them with a nurturing ecosystem to incubate their ideas and unleash their potential. The admission of the first cohort of innovators marked a significant milestone. As collaboration agreements were inked, innovators’ projects found a nurturing haven within JHUB Africa’s fold. Through a series of engagements and events, including hackathons and project pitching sessions, the second cohort was welcomed into the vibrant ecosystem, further enriching the tapestry of innovation.
